Summer Reading Program

The Summer Reading program begins on June 1st!

Kids ages 3 thru 4th grade can read books from the Madison Public Library and  earn prizes. Stop at the Madison Public Library to pick up your reading chart. Read for 15 minutes/day. Mark your reading time on your chart and after you have completed 15 days worth of reading, visit the library to pick a prize! For each of the three reading blocks have been filled you will also get your name put into a drawing for a grand prize. Grand prize drawing will take place at the conclusion of the Summer Reading Program.

Teens 5th grade to 8th grade can participate in the teen portion of the Summer Reading Program. Beginning June 1st, stop at the Madison Public Library to pick up a punch card. When you read books from the Madison Public Library, you earn punches. One book = one punch. When you fill your punch card, you get to come into the library to pick out the prize of your choice. Prizes include Chamber Bucks, books, gift certificate, and more! When your punch card is full and you've collected your prize, get another punch card and keep reading for more prizes. Limit 3 cards
