Meet the Candidates....

Informal Candidate Meet and Greet

Tuesday, October 7th
11:30 am to 1:30pm

All candidates for District 8 as well as Lake County sheriff and County commissioner candidates have been personally invited, and most have agreed to come for at least some portion of the time.

The meet and greet is an opportunity to engage in personal conversation with the candidates to learn more about them and their positions.

The public library is a natural venue for this event because it represents democracy at work:  all citizens are welcome, free of charge, to access knowledge and information in pleasant surroundings.

Additionally, information about voter registration and early voting will be available.  Since the library is directly across from the courthouse, persons attending can conveniently go register or early vote!
